Konstantinos Demis is an Animation Director and visual artist based in Athens, Greece.
He has been directing and making things move since 1999.
characters, creatures, objects, light. Over twenty-five years he has worked across commercials, film, and interactive media. He co-founded and runs Mascista, a small animation and VFX studio in Athens.
The other work, the work that actually keeps him up at night, lives somewhere between film, collage, and the kind of imagery that doesn't explain itself. His short films and personal projects circle around existential unease, identity, and the slow erosion of the human shape under pressure. His practice is gritty, handmade, and occasionally unsettling: analogue collages, zines, dark animation, things made from materials that weren't meant to become things.
He is interested in what images do when they stop being polite.
